1月10日消息，藍色起源公司宣布，因大西洋回收區(qū)域內海況不佳，原定于美國東部時間凌晨1:00發(fā)射的New Glenn首飛任務再次推遲兩天，至北京時間1月12日14:00。New Glenn是藍色起源首枚軌道級運載火箭，高約98米，采用了可重復使用的一級助推器。該助推器計劃在發(fā)射后返回地球，并在大西洋上以杰夫?貝索斯的母親命名的回收船“Jacklyn”號上著陸。

據(jù)RCR無線新聞網(wǎng)近日報道，日本電信公司SoftBank與 Eutelsat集團聯(lián)手，計劃于今年12月推出衛(wèi)星連接服務。這一服務將依托Eutelsat OneWeb的低地球軌道（LEO）衛(wèi)星網(wǎng)絡，為用戶提供更廣泛的網(wǎng)絡覆蓋。 據(jù)報道，SoftBank預計將以Eutelsat OneWeb的名義為日本商業(yè)、政府機構提供八種不同的服務，這些服務具有“高速率、低時延”的特點。SoftBank在今年7月表示已經(jīng)獲得包括甚小口徑終端（VSAT）、移動地球站等基礎設施的運作授權。Eutelsat OneWeb也于今年8月獲得日本總務省頒發(fā)的衛(wèi)星地面站許可，為運營鋪平了道路。
9月5日消息，英國衛(wèi)星通信公司一網(wǎng)公司（OneWeb）旗下的美國一網(wǎng)技術公司（OneWeb Technologies）推出了全新定位、導航和授時（PNT）服務系統(tǒng)“Astra”?！癆stra”系統(tǒng)可與GPS等全球導航定位系統(tǒng)及銥星等PNT系統(tǒng)兼容，且能夠獨立提供導航服務。該系統(tǒng)可應對GPS服務國防、航空、應急等領域抗干擾和抗攔截能力不足的問題，以及確保英國脫歐后建立起不依賴于歐盟伽利略導航系統(tǒng)的全球導航能力。
9月12日消息，日本移動網(wǎng)絡運營商軟銀與近地軌道（LEO）衛(wèi)星運營商OneWeb簽訂合作協(xié)議，軟銀將把OneWeb的LEO衛(wèi)星與其服務相集成，以確保日本的通信更加安全，并以OneWeb 的LEO星座為在軟銀地面移動網(wǎng)絡難以到達的地方提供高速、低延遲的連接解決方案，還將為受災地區(qū)提供重要的備用通信鏈路。OneWeb目前已經(jīng)完成了由648顆衛(wèi)星組成的第一代LEO星座的部署，軟銀認為現(xiàn)在是時候與OneWeb合作，成為其泛在網(wǎng)絡【利用各種非地面網(wǎng)絡（NTN）解決方案（包括同步衛(wèi)星和高空平臺站
